5 out of 5 stars Summer of the Sea Serpent   November 3, 2006
Summer of the Sea Serpent
By Mary Pope Osborne

The book I'm reading is called Summer of the Sea Serpent. In the book, Jack and Annie go to Camelot. They meet an old friend, Teddy. He is a boy sorcerer who turned himself into a dog by accident, and Jack and Annie free him. He enjoys going on adventures with Jack and Annie. Teddy respects his magic, but needs some work on his rhyming. He turned Jack and Annie into ravens during last mission by accident, and had the idea to turn them into seals this mission. Do you think Teddy is a good sorcerer?

Jack and Annie continue in this wonderful series. We read these books, and listen to them on audio tape and cd - acceptable for the whole family without being boring for the grownups

5 out of 5 stars Great ...as usual!   April 24, 2006
Ms. Osborne's magic in telling a story is really shown in the latest series of books. My son started on these when he was 4 years old and now now approaching second grade, he is still enjoying the series. We generally read the book and then re-read the book with listening to the audio book. The stories are so fun that even adults enjoy it. This book is great for the summertime and really gets you in the mood for summer adventure. We plan to continue the series and I hope that Ms. Osborne ages the kids with more of the adventures! Thanks so much!
