5 out of 5 stars Great for starting out in Dreamweaver CS3!   February 7, 2008

This book is great for people beginning to learn Dreamweaver. I am taking an online course and this is our text book. It's very informative and easy to read. The CD that accompanies the book has the lessns you can follow along with as well as other practice lessons you can do. Highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to learn Dreamweaver.

3 out of 5 stars A good learning tool but could be better...   February 1, 2008

This book was required for my online Dreamweaver class. I'm a post-grad in another career field and am hopeful about learning web design. I must say, although I've learned a great deal about Dreamweaver from this book so far... the book has some editing overlooks - mostly toward the beginning. I found that the other CS3 Revealed Illustrator book had similar issues. Regardless, I'm able to easily figure out what they're trying to get at. Overall, it's a pretty good book and I feel like I've learned a lot, but there are other "series" books that flow better.

Since I'm new to Web design/development, this book is great! Easy to follow, pleanty of hands-on and examples that carry over chapters so you can see how sites are built from scratch.
