I have found this book to be a great blessing to my life! The Writer has captured the essence of the Ancient Christian Faith and understanding and has presented it a a very reverent and concise manner. In my humble opinion, every Clergyman should have a copy of this book, and every layperson as well.
A wonderful book June 21, 2000 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I am a cradle Catholic, but I never fully understood the Mass until I read this marvelous book. With great care and documentation from Scripture and the early church fathers,Mr.Hahn reminds us all of the elegant simplicity and depthless beauty of the Catholic faith and our sacred Liturgy. I recommend this book highly to anyone.
A Very Interesting Book June 13, 2000 Scott Hahn does an outstanding job in this book. In looking at the Mass from the perspective of the Apocalypse, Hahn makes the Mass more understandable.

A book every Christian should read June 10, 2000 17 out of 18 found this review helpful
Scott Hahn's book, "The Lamb's Supper", is definitely a book that should be read by every Christian. First of all, he takes us back to our Jewish roots, always important for Christians to remember. Then, he relates how the Last Supper Eucharistic experience, the subsequent Passion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus, and the living out of the Christian Way of Life is all wrapped up in both the Holy Mass and the Book of Revelation. Heaven on earth--to me it's like a funnel, with all of heaven and all eternity funnelled through to the point in time of the Consecration. Dr. Hahn's book is easy to read, with witty section titles and with concepts simply presented. And, what to do when bored or distracted? Our task is to focus, to be more present in the moment, to respond more heartily, to attend to these mysteries aware that all heaven does so. This is very much in agreement with the "little way" of St. Therese of Lisieux. Thank you, Dr. Hahn!
