Product Description
Most Christians pray as though they believe communication with God flows in only one direction?we ask God for things and hope He gives us what we want or think we need. Bestselling author and teacher Dr. Larry Crabb challenges that notion of prayer and offers a fresh perspective that is sure to revitalize even the most frustrated prayer life. When readers apply the principles of The Papa Prayer, they will experience the power of prayer like they never dreamed possible.

Another book on prayer? No! A breakthrough book on prayer. James 5:16b says, "The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." KJV. But what is effectual? What is fervent? What is righteous?

Crabb points out that the only one that can really teach us to pray is Jesus. And Jesus' prayers were always first and foremost about relationship. He was always concerned about His relationship to His Father. All to often our prayers are laundry lists of requests--though not always for ourselves.

Crabb uses the Lord's Prayer to give us Jesus model for coming effectively before the Father--and what an eye opener it is. No matter how many times you've looked at or recited the Lord's Prayer, you've never looked at it in the way Crabb describes--and this new perspective can radically alter your prayer life.

The PAPA Prayer is about how to be real with God (who knows everything about us and what we've thought, said, and done, and loves us any way--unconditionally!) and through prayer develop a deeper relationship with God--which is the first thing God wants for us.

Don't miss out on the blessing's of the PAPA Prayer one minute longer. The world, the church, our communities, and our families need each of us to be praying the PAPA Prayer.

Armchair Interviews says: Run, don't walk to your bookstore for your own copy of The PAPA Prayer.
