This is one of the worst children's book I have read. This is no build-up to what is supposed to be the great and inspiring ending. There is no indication that she was ever afraid to appear on stage prior to her doing it and she just does it without any trepidation. Basically, there isn't much of a story here.
 Gift for My Niece November 6, 2008
I bought this book as a Christmas gift for my 2 year old niece, to whom I read to almost every night. I heard Dionne Warwick speaking about her book on the Tom Joyner Morning Show and decided to check it out on Amazon. The story is very positive for young childern and easy to read for beginners. I am sure my niece will enjoy hearing it for years to come and the CD is just an extra bonus for her to enjoy.Say a Little Prayer
The legend continues... September 27, 2008
My diva of divas, the legendary Dionne Warwick has produced (in part) a crafty children's book. Being that Miss Warwick is a grandmother of about 4 or 5 kids now, this venture came as no surprise to me. It is affordably priced. A CD with an audio reading by Warwick comes with the book. The CD also includes a recent cut of her Bacharach-David tune, "I Say A Little Prayer".
