Wonderful for Children February 6, 2007 This is a wonderful graphic book version of Pope John Paul II aimed mostly at children, but still very nice to view for adults. Very straight forward ideas and answers to questions at how remarkable this man really was. It spans his entire life.
book review January 15, 2007 I wanted to purchase this book for my grandchildren, who were born during the papacy of Pope John Paul II. They're a little young (2-5) for the content, but I hope the book will be a keepsake for them to remember this remarkable Pope and great man all their lives. As they get older I hope they will emulate his character and holiness.
Great book for children July 20, 2006 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is perhaps the first book about Pope John Paul II published in English that aims at children as its primary audience. Stories depicted in the book are real and easy to comprehend, despite their considerable distance in space and time from here-and-now. Good educational value. A highly recommended reading for Catholic and non-Catholic children alike.
