Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
(mlh) The Fifth Edition of this classic text is revised and updated to incorporate the latest technologies, techniques, and opportunities in clinical chemistry. No other text is more careful to strike a balance between analytical principles and techniques and the correlation of laboratory results. This edition features additional case studies and questions, expanded coverage of endocrinology, and updated information on toxicology, geriatrics, and other topics. An Instructor's Resource Guide on CD-ROM includes chapter review questions and answers, teaching tips, an image bank, curriculum guidelines, and pedagogy by chapter.

3 out of 5 stars Not the greatest textbook   October 1, 2008
This book does have a few typos. It really could be formatted a lot better. My instructor does a great job of pulling out the important information otherwise this book would not help me at all. Some of the tables and graphs are good except for the typos on some of them. I would look elsewhere for a better book.

1 out of 5 stars THIS BOOK IS THE DEVIL!!!   September 26, 2008
Dont bother buying this book. save your time and money. it takes hours just to read one page. if you have to look up key words forget about it google is better than this book. Google is much quicker. save time and money because this book sucks. You should buy Tietz clincal chemistry book its the best simple format easy to look up information.

Im gunna burn my book its horrible
:) if you wanna buy mine ill can still sell you the ashes!!

4 out of 5 stars Great Overview of Different analytical tests   February 5, 2008
This book gives a quick overview of the different analytes and tests that can be done in a clinical chemistry lab. If you want something more in depth i recomend Teitz

4 out of 5 stars it's not bad   October 8, 2007
i'm happy with the service, i recieved the book on on time, but the book it self is awfully odd. it has some errors.

4 out of 5 stars Clinical Chemistry   May 14, 2007
A great textbook for learning clinical chemistry. Text is very easy to understand and parallels some of the materials for the test manufacturers. The index could be improved slightly, but is still user-friendly.
